The overlap

Three disciplines, one decision

Our strength comes from the integration of agronomy, data science, and cutting-edge technology: each pair of disciplines produces something neither produces alone.

Agronomy × Data science

Thresholds calibrated on Tunisian series, instead of imported thresholds.

Data science × Technology

An automatic alert within 24 hours of the satellite pass.

Agronomy × Technology

An instruction both the crop manager and the field worker can read.

Who we are

Agronomy first, technology in service of the decision

Founded in Sfax in 2021, RoboCare puts satellite imagery, sensors and artificial intelligence within reach of a ten-hectare grower and a thousand-hectare estate alike — in their own language, on their own phone.

Across the Mediterranean, margin comes down to water, climate and input costs. Our models, trained on local time series, spot stress before it becomes visible and turn it into a dated, quantified instruction.

From the field

What monitored farms tell us

The first year, I checked every alert on foot. The two zones flagged in April were exactly the ones that collapsed in June on neighbouring unmonitored plots. Now I irrigate by reading the map.

Farm manager

220 ha olive grove · Sfax

Nitrogen used to go out at a single rate across 1,400 hectares. The variable-rate maps showed the northern third didn’t need it. At equal yield, we cut a fifth off the bill.

Technical director

Cereal cooperative · Béja

What changed is the rhythm: a briefing every Monday morning, with the sector to watch and the reason why. My team leaders know what to do before they climb into the tractor.

Frequent questions

Answers in three lines

The questions that come up most often before a first analysis.

What is RoboCare?

RoboCare is a Tunisian AgriTech company that helps farmers monitor their crops using satellite imagery, artificial intelligence, and agricultural IoT sensors. Founded in Sfax in 2021, RoboCare turns satellite and sensor data into clear, field-level decisions — irrigation timing, nitrogen needs, early disease detection — for olive groves, cereals, citrus, and greenhouse crops. No hardware is required to start: a satellite-based analysis is available within 24 hours of adding a field.

How does RoboCare help farmers?

RoboCare replaces guesswork with field-level evidence. Satellite and drone imagery reveal exactly which zones of a field are under water or nutrient stress, IoT soil sensors confirm what’s happening below ground, and AI models turn both into concrete actions — where to irrigate first, where to apply nitrogen, which trees need attention. Farmers act on real conditions instead of walking the whole field or waiting for visible symptoms.

Why choose RoboCare for precision agriculture?

RoboCare’s models are trained on Mediterranean growing conditions, not imported from another climate, and retrained every season. The team is based in Sfax, working alongside the farms it monitors rather than remotely. Coverage already spans over 100,000 hectares across olive, cereal, citrus, and greenhouse operations, with satellite monitoring, IoT sensors, and agricultural drones combined in a single platform — and no hardware required to get started.

How long before my first analysis?

Twenty-four hours after you draw a field outline. History usually goes back three to five years of satellite archives, so you can compare the current season with previous ones from day one.

How accurate is a satellite analysis?

Sentinel-2 delivers a 10-metre pixel, meaning one measurement point every 100 m². That is enough to zone a field and locate a hotspot, not to diagnose a single tree — that is what the drone is for.

What happens when it is cloudy?

Covered pixels are masked automatically and excluded from the calculation. Cloud cover is displayed for each pass; in the Mediterranean, over 80 % of dry-season passes are usable.

Is there a minimum area?

No, monitoring works from one hectare. Below that the pixel count becomes too low for reliable zoning, but the vigour curve remains usable.

Who owns my data?

You do. Outlines, readings and history remain your property: they are never sold or passed to third parties, and you can export them or request deletion at any time.
